I had planned on Paige being the mother of Cap's first U.S. litter.
Sheena, however, had different ideas on the subject.
Cap of Killiebrae is imported from England and is 100% ISDS lines. Cap almost made the Scottish finals his first Nursery season, and won the
2007 Westmorland League Nursery Championship his second Nursery season after being purchased by Derek Scrimgeour. Cap is a talented dog who
loves to work. He walks onto his stock nicely, and holds a line when driving. One of Cap's
biggest strengths is his ability to convince flighty sheep who want nothing to do with being trapped in a small pen that walking through that
gate is what they're going to have to do. Cap & Derek won the Penning Trophy at the 2007 Sterling Cup ISDS trial.
Cap's sire, 2 X International Driving Ch Dolwen Chips, was not used very much at stud. Thus Cap is one of the few dogs that preserves this
line. Cap has pups that are already working, and he throws pups with strong bone and compact bodies. For pictures of some of Cap's puppies from
previous litters, look on Cap's page
here.
Cap's Hips are BVA 3:7 for a total of 10. This is equivalent to an OFA Good. His eyes are CERF clear and he is
CEA, CL & TNS Genotype Clear/Normal.

BonniDune The Future Is Now is a combination of top Australian, British, New Zealand, and American show lines bred back to
the ultimate working line of Dual International Supreme Champion Spot (ISDS # 161819). "Sheena" is 3/4 British and 1/4 Australasian lines.
Her sire is DC Lydeardlea Angel In Disguise who was imported from Great Britain. "Joey" has won multiple Awards of Merit at Border Collie specialties. Her dam is our own Ch Tainsh New Dawn At BonniDune HSAs STDs, a daughter of
DC Majestic Outlander CDX OTDs AOM AOE ROM.
Sheena has only been shown a few times because I've been waiting for her to mature. Her multi-titled littermate, Blitz, won the 2005 BCSA National Specialty Puppy Sweepstakes
and the 2006 BCSA National Specialty Performance Titled Match. Blitz has both his majors in the conformation ring, and should finish his
championship soon. Another littermate, Mac,
has won Best of Breed over specials for a 3-point major. A third littermate, Risky, earned his CD with placements out of Novice A,
trained and shown by a 10-year-old junior handler.
Sheena has fantastic angulation and she practically floats when she moves. She displays great promise on stock.
Sheena is naturally wide, and is developing more "push" as her experience and confidence develop. She is responsive to the slightest body movement and is by far the fastest dog I own.
Sheena is CEA and CL Genotype Normal/Clear by parentage. Her hips are OFA Good and her elbows are Normal.
Cap's solid structure and power on sheep should combine nicely with Sheena's free-flowing movement and soft approach.
