BIS BISS GCh Sportingfields Reflections O Borderfame AOM is one of the
few Border Collies in America to have won multiple all-breed Best in Shows as
well as multiple specialty Best in Shows. Some of his career highlights
include winning Best in Show at the Kentuckiana Tartan Border Collie Specialty
in 2007 (out of the classes!) and then winning it a second time in 2008.
He won the first Award of Merit at the 2008 National Specialty and went on to
win Best in Show at the National Supported Entry the following day. Kenya
won Best of Breed at the 2009 Eukanuba Dog Show and Best in Show at the 2009 Border Collie Club of Greater Los Angeles
Specialty. He won Best Opposite Sex at that same specialty in 2010.
Kenya's pedigree contains several dogs that I have long admired. His
mother, Ch Borderfame Maid To Move, was one of my all-time favorite bitches.
His ancestors also include great dogs such as Multi-Ch Goldentone Blue Illusion,
Multi-Ch Borderfame Heart N Soul and Aust/NZ Ch Glentress Chain Reaction.
Kenya has not been bred often, but has produced nicely when used. One
of his daughters won Winners Bitch and an Award of Merit at the 2010 National
Supported Entry.
Kenya's hips are OFA Good and his elbows are normal. He is BAER
tested normal, CEA DNA tested normal and CL and TNS DNA normal by pedigree.
BonniDune Reiver At Kennelley has both her majors and is only 4 points from finishing her
Championship. Unfortunately she damaged her teeth and cannot be shown any more. The original Border Reivers were notorious thieves along the border between England and
Scotland. My little Reiver will steal anyone's heart in a New York minute. Her bubbly personality makes her sparkle
like a ray of sunshine.
Reiver's pedigree is a blend of show and working lines for several generations, and includes many dogs with proven ability to
excel in conformation, herding and obedience. She is line bred on GB Sh Ch Dykebar Future Glory, the only
Border Collie to ever win Reserve Best in Show at Crufts and Spot (ISDS 161819) who won the International Supreme Championship
in 1991 and again in 1994. Her ancestors also include great dogs such as my own VX ChX DC Majestic Outlander CDX HXAs OTDs TDI
AOM AOE ROMX; and Terry Kenney's DC HTCh WTCh Kennelley's
Bandit and DC HTCh WTCh Darkwind Stormin Kennelly.
Reiver's first litter was sired by GCh Winpara Dragonfire RN. Those puppies are now a year old and one of them is already
a UKC Champion with multiple group placements. That same pup also has points toward his AKC Championship. None of the other
puppies from that litter have been shown yet.
Reiver's hips are OFA Good. She is CEA & CL Genotype Normal by parentage.
