LittleMan started his show career off with a bang, winning Best Puppy in Breed at the Breeder Showcase in
Orlando, Florida in December 2001. He then won Best Puppy and Best of Breed at the KTBCC Puppy Sweepstakes and A/OA Match in
March 2002. He finished his breed championship easily when only 7 months old, and won an Award of Merit at the 2004 KTBCC Specialty.
LittleMan also competes in herding, obedience and rally. In herding, he is a High In Trial winner, and the winner of the
High Scoring Champion of Record on the "B" Course belt buckle at the 2003 BCSA National Specialty. He currently has
11 points toward his Herding Championship, and hopefully
will gain his Dual Championhip during the 2007-2008 trialing season.
LittleMan already has several litters on the ground. One of his pup's won Winners Dog on Saturday at the 2007
Kentuckiana Cluster of Dog Shows. A LittleMan pup from a different litter won Winners Dog at the Border Collie Club of Greater Los
Angeles 2007 Specialty under Breeder-Judge Ross Green from England. That pup also won Runner-Up Best Puppy in Sweepstakes and his
littermate won Best Puppy in Sweepstakes at that same show.
LittleMan compliments Myst physically, and their pedigrees blend beautifully. LittleMan's dam, "Promise," is a littermate to Myst's maternal grandsire, BonniDune's own "Duncan."
And, LittleMan's paternal grandsire, "Blu," is a littermate to Myst's maternal granddam, "Skye."
LittleMan has OFA Good hips, elbows & patellae normal, his eyes are clear, and he is CEA, CL and TNS Genotype Normal.
Ch BonniDune Hyland Myst RN
is a combination of Australian, British, New Zealand and American show lines crossed to British and American working lines.
Myst finished her championship easily, with three 4-point majors. She is now working on her obedience training, and
also doing some sheep herding. Myst comes from a long line of outstanding dogs. Her sire is a
second-generation AKC Dual Champion, who also has herding championships from ASCA and AHBA. Her paternal grand-dam was the very first AKC Border Collie Dual Champion.
She, too, also has herding championships from ASCA and AHBA.
Myst's maternal grandsire is our own Duncan, who defines Versatility. He is an AKC Dual Champion who has won multiple group placements,
multiple herding high in trial awards, an Award of Merit at the 1999 National Specialty, an Award of Excellence at the 2000 AKC/Eukanuba
Invitational Classic, and has his CDX obedience title.
Myst's maternal grand-dam was the only Border Collie bitch to ever win Reserve Best In Show at Crufts. Her maternal Great-great-grandsire is
1991/1994 International Supreme Champion Spot (ISDS 161819).
Myst has OFA Good hips, her eyes are clear and she is CEA Genotype Normal.
